SVC implemented seismic strengthening using carbon fibre wrapping, a high-performance reinforcement technique. The process involved surface preparation, application of epoxy resin, and wrapping multiple layers of high-strength carbon fibre sheets around the column. This method improved the column’s ductility, confinement, and energy dissipation capacity, making it more resilient to seismic loads.







The strengthened columns now exhibit enhanced seismic performance, improved load distribution, and greater structural resilience. This lightweight, non-intrusive solution effectively mitigates seismic risks while ensuring long-term durability and minimal disruption to the structure.
